Although a Golf 3 GTI is not immediately a rare car, you come across them less and less often in the current street scene. Original copies are really underrepresented and copies where rust is absent are very rare. Where a GOLF 3 GTI as 8V (115 hp) with an acceptable mileage can still be found, it is increasingly difficult to score the right version of the Golf 3 GTI: the GTI 16V with 150 hp.

The Golf that we offer gradually deserves the rate: rare. This GTI was delivered on 24-02-1994 to the first owner, Mrs. Hooites from Germany. The Volkswagen dealer from Regensburg delivered a beautiful new GTI to her. She opted for the coveted 16V version with 150 hp, the 5-door version, five-speed manual gearbox, beautiful dark green metallic paint, a double airbag for safety, and for that time very luxurious: a factory air conditioning.

In the following years the GTI was perfectly maintained by the dealer from Regensburg, with the maintenance booklet as evidence. The last maintenance by them was carried out on 28-04-2000. Mrs. Hooites then sold the car to an enthusiast from the Netherlands, Limburg. On 04-12-2000 the car was provided with a Dutch registration.

The Golf was also perfectly maintained in the following years: the Volkswagen dealer from Sittard saw the GTI every year, without exception, for maintenance. The last service was carried out by them in 2014. The car was subsequently included in a collection, but the owner is willing to sell the car.

We are pleased to be able to offer this very original, rust-free GTI from third private owner with a perfect history. This GTI has demonstrably driven only 118,552 km! Quite rare condition, right?
